The hotel was very pretty and comfartable. The rooms all had kictehns which is great when you travel with kids. The only bad experience we had was that we were not allowed to take cooler with us to the beach. We were traveling with 3 kids and it could be costly to buy them juices and sodas from the beach resturant. But otherwise everything else was good.

Living on the east coast of Florida, Marco is less than 2 hours away and the perfect destination for a quick weekend getaway. I had called ahead for an early check-in, and the hotel was very accomadating. The 1 bedroom suite (partial gulf view) was beautifully appointed. We were on the 6th floor - next time I would request something higher, as the view would have improved considerably.
The beach is beautiful, with attendants waiting to lead you to a chaise lounge and provide you with towels.

All of our expectations were met, and I wouldn't hesitate booking another stay.

the rooms were very nice with a full kitchen. the grounds were very nice and the beach is beautiful here. the only complaint i would have is the food could be better at the hotel restraunts, however i wasn't impressed with much of the food on marco island in general. after staying here and at the marriott, i would go back to this hotel first.

This hotel is set up similar to a time share so it had a complete kitchen, lg. all marble bathroom and comfortable sitting room. It has a great central location on the island as you can walk to many nice places to eat, drink or shop. The service was top knotch with a definite European flair - many different languages spoken by the staff. The food was wonderful, but one restaurant (Toulouse) required pants and a jacket which is common amoung Europeans (the clientele most catered to at this hotel) but quite uncommon for anywhere in FL. The beach was absolutely fabulouse - wide and white. Although the beach bar has no view of the beach itself. But, you can console yourself by having one of the friendly, well-spoken waite staff serve you something frosty at your complimentary beach chair!! Not a bad trade-off.
