General Information:Only 30 miles to Yosemite National Park, Miners Inn is an excellent location for you and your family to stay at on your exciting and scenic vacation to and from Yosemite National Park.Location:The Miners Inn is located at the corner of Hwy 140 and Hwy 49 North in Mariposa, 30 minutes from the Arch Rock Entrance to Yosemite National Park. Area:The Miner's Inn is located in Mariposa, Calif., at the base of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Historic attractions such as the Mariposa County History Museum and the California State Mining Museum are nearby. The entrance of Yosemite National Park is nearby. Recreation:Our guests enjoy an outdoor pool and hot tub in a lovely garden setting. Included in our full service property is our restaurant which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with a menu that will please each member of your family, and live entertainment in the lounge four nights a week.Rooms:Miners Inn offers 78 guest rooms with some amenities including fireplaces, kitchenettes, HBO, coffee makers and king and queen beds.

Yes the room we had was above our expectations it was excellent with a large jacussi and kitchen area - but dont think that many of the rooms are similar. Great value !

Like all US hotels the rooms are large. Everything is clean and the breakfasts are pretty good. It has a restaurant and bar on site, which is helpful as it's on the edge of Mariposa and so its a bit of a walk to the centre of town. Its very easy to find. Only complaint was that the saloon was a bit noisy at kicking out time.

El desayuno deja un tanto que desear, asi como que esta a mas de una milla del centro de Mariposa. Por lo demas el trato fue bueno, y las habitaciones correctas para un hotel de ese estilo.

Definitely would recommend the hotel. The food in the restaurant was excellent and very reasonably price. Everyone was very friendly. Unfortunately, the restaurant wasn't open for breakfast even though the sign said they opened at 7AM. Our room was clean and nicely decorated. We enjoyed our stay and were only an hour from Yosemite.
