The Hivernage Hotel & Spa, capped by gorgeous full-view terrace overlooking Bad Jdid ramparts and Agdai Gardens, provides a breathtaking view on the ochre city and Atlas snowy peaks. Very well situated in the romantic and prestigious Hivernage area where its name originates; the Hivernage Hotel & Spa is well harmonized with its mosaic and the blue sky of Marrakech. Only few steps from La Mamounia, the Hivernage Hotel & Spa has a beautiful view from its panoramic terraces overlooking the Bab Jdid walls, Agdal Gardens and the snow covered Atlas peaks.

This was a good hotel and in an excellent location - just outside the Medina but within very easy walking distance. Also two excellent restaurants within easy reach (two minute walk) - Le Comptoir and Jad Mahal. Restaurant at hotel also good.
Did not use spa so cannot comment.
Pool area very nice but did not go in so not sure of temperature of pool.
Criticism - had booked a car via the hotel (by email) to pick us up from the airport and it didn't arrive - when complained to the hotel they claimed to have no record of it - I have a copy of the email!!
Would recommend the hotel but not at the rack rate - I paid £75 per night per room and this is a fair price any more than this and you will be paying over the top.

Literally a fifteen minute drive from the airport (£100 dinar by grand taxi) and overlooking the walls of the Medina with the Koutoubia Minaret in the near distance (provides early morning wake up which wasn't a problem and only added to the atmosphere). The hotel and facilities were excellent. Immaculate would be a good description. Rose petals scattered on the bed and in the bathroom on arrival were such a lovely touch. The staff were wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble. They were exceptionally polite and went out of their way to make our stay the best ever. Breakfast was a plentiful buffet selection of fresh fruit, bread rolls, cold meats, cheese and much more, plus the chef waiting to prepare omelettes on request. I would highly recommend the hotel restaurant for an evening meal. Try the chicken tangine with lemon and olives, it sends the taste buds into overdrive (the best in Marrakesh - and I tried a few!!). Must add that the weather was a fabulous 33 degrees by day and 24 degrees by night in November!! The air conditioning was very welcome, particularly at night.

This is a lovely hotel, great location and with very helpful staff. Interior decor oft he hotel is lovely, and pool area is great although unfortunately there is a building site next door so a bit exposed!
Restaurant is great, food lovely and service perfect.
They always seem to leave just one towel in the room when there are two staying!
Concierge great for help with bookings, always taxis available.
Comptior is lovely and around the corner.
