Napili Kai Beach Resort a low rise traditional Hawaiin style resort ocean front on an unspoiled swimming and snorkeling bay with a white sand beach. The property is low density with 163 studios and suites in 11 one and two story buildings spread over 10 lush beautifully landscaped tropical acres. This full service resort features 4 swimming pools a large open air whirlpool and an 18 hole putting green. The Sea House Restaurant and Whale watchers bar sit on the beach and offer ocean front views of spectacular sunsets. There is a fully equipped air conditioned exercise room and the Makai massage and Body Work Center and Spa. The Breezeway boutique offers a unique selections island style clothing gifts and rare estate jewlery. Coffee is offered each day at 10am at the Cabana. A fun childrens program is organized during summer and holiday seasons. Napili Kai resort is truly the place to relax. Napili Kai is located on Napili Bay 5 miles north of Kaanapali Beach in West Maui and immediately adjacent to Kapalua.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Napili Kai Beach Resort. It's right on the beach, which is beautiful, and excellent for both swimming and lounging on the sand. There is also good snorkeling. The room was large, comfortable and nicely decorated. We had a garden view room, and didn't miss having an ocean view; we really did have a view of their beautiful garden, and not a parking lot like at some resorts. The only negative thing is the restaurant at the resort, the Sea House. It's okay for breakfast, but we went there once for drinks and appetizers. The drinks were bad -- they were too sweet and were made cheaply with so little alcohol that they might as well have been nonalcoholic. The appetizers were okay, but very overpriced for the small portions. Fortunately, there are many excellent restaurants right nearby in Kapalua.
