Reviews Of **Members Only Hotel**, Memphis,

Very nice hotel. From the time we arrived until we checked out, the service was to be commended. Parking attendants, bellmen, room service & house keeping were helpful without being oberbearing. Checked in and checked out in less than a minute. No drama at the front desk like I have grown accustomed to while traveling. Hotel is located about ten blocks from Beale Street (an easy walk or short trip on the trolly). Our room was complete with a great view of the city and the Mississippi River. Our only complaint is that both the shower and toilet were slow to drain. We will plan to stay here again and recommend this hotel to others who are looking for a place to stay while listening to the blues and eating 'que.

Beds were exceptionally comfortable but other than that I was not overly impressed. Wasn't as clean as I would have expected and was very expensive. Stayed in a Travel Lodge the night before that was a much cleaner hotel with much better amenities. So overall, no my expectations were definitely not met.

Desk staff and parking staff were rude.
Housecleaning staff were very friendly however.

Overall, Not really worth the cost.

Very Good value for the dollar paid. Good service, Patti in the Trolley Car bar in the hotel was excellent. Would recommend to family and friends. Easy access to Beale Street riding the trolley car.

There were numerous mosquitos buzzing at the check-in desk. The clerk explained it was because of the River's proximity - - a little pest control could easily remedy that.

Neither the bathroom nor the bedroom was particularly clean.

A positive was the bed which was both very comfortable and clean (all white linens).

Lovely property, very comfortable rooms, nicely appointed. Staff very professsional and accomodating. Would absolutely book this hotel again and would recommend that anyone travelling to Memphis do the same.

The hotel is very nice. The staff were nice and helpful. The restaurant was nice. The lobby was very picturesque. I would recommend this hotel to others. I did not like the fact that you have to pay $12/day for parking. There is a parking lot across the street for $5/day and there are parking meters all around (meters free after 6pm and on weekends). I parked across the street and at parking meters and it saved me a lot of money.

While the property is dated it is well kept.

All personnel encountered were friendly and polite.

Good value, and I would recommend this hotel to others.

The beds were extremely comfortable with lofty comforters and extra over-sized pillows. The breakfast buffet was comprehensive and delicious. The bathroom was the largest one I'd ever had in a hotel, but the tub had a cheap plastic hand-held shower head, which was disappointing. The hotel was a little overwhelmed by the masses that stayed there because of its proximity to the convention center. The pool was overcrowded, the hot tub was cold, the restaurant was swamped, and the hallway would get noisy at times. On a normal stay without a large convention in town, I would probably rate the hotel higher. Nevertheless, it was good value for the money, because I got a reasonable rate from Skoosh.
