Customer Rating:

The location of this hotel is perfect- it is at the crossroads of Lincoln Road and Washington Ave. It is also just a couple of blocks from the flaship hotels and the manicured beaches associated with them (Delano/ National.) The cost, however, is signficantly less. Service was excellent and the hotel was clean. I read some reviews earlier and noticed a very strict check in policy of 3PM. I thought it a little odd, but the other critics on this issue were right. I got there at 2:50 PM and they acutally made me wait 10 minutes. Hysterical and stupid, but overall a great place to stay- that I would definitely recommend minus this strange quirk.

A great quaint boutique hotel just one block off Collins and Lincold Road. It is showing a little age but overall still a great hotel.

We booked the Albion for 3 nights at an outstanding rate....well below the standard rate listed on their site (less than half!!). For this price, the room, service and overall atmosphere were very good. Now, if I had paid the full rate for each night I would likely would have expected a little more.

Positives: absolutely great location...walking distance to beach, clubs and restaurants. -- very friendly staff -- great price.

Negatives: very small bathrooms -- beds were not done up very well (bottom sheets slipped off every night, exposing the bare mattress) -- very thin walls (heard A LOT of interesting things from the couple next door ;-)

I would definitely recommend staying in the Albion Hotel. I stayed there w/ my sister this past weekend and the location was excellent - close to everything. The hotel has a pool, wireless internet service, computer with internet service (if you didn't bring your laptop), lobby bar that's open in the evenings, gym, and breakfast/lunch/dinner served onsite. The service was excellent - everyone was very friendly. The rooms were ok, standard. Bathroom could be a little more updated, but it still was well worth it. If you get a good price on this hotel, it's worth the stay.

My family and I stayed at the Albion this past weekend. We found the hotel to be clean, the staff was very friendly, and the service was excellent!!! The hotel was in a great location...within walking distance to public access of the beach, shops and restaurants surrounded us. We booked our stay thru Skoosh and therefore, found it to be a good value for the money. I would not have paid the hotel's regular rate...I think these rates were overpriced for this type of hotel.
The only downside to this hotel: The bathroom floor (slate) was a bit dirty upon arrival, the beds were clean but hard, the hotel lounge didn't open until 6pm...so no pina colada's during the day.
If I could get a good rate again...I would stay at the Albion on my next Florida visit.
