**Members Only Hotel**

We couldn't believe the incredible room we got for the price on Skoosh - the room had huge beautiful windows, two floors with a spiral staircase, two huge flatscreen TVs and an incredibly comfortable bed.

The hotel itself was beautiful, too - ice water with fruit in it in the lobby at all times, a courteous staff, silent hallways, and an amazing location.

There were parking garages in the neighborhood that saved us money on valet. The neighborhood was great - full of anything we needed, and it was central to everything.

And the price was GREAT! Thanks, Skoosh!

It was close to where we needed to be& good value for our stay. The room was very nice though the bathroom could have had better lighting. The front desk was not courteous; we tried to check in at 10:00am&were told that no rooms were available &she would take our cell phone to call us when they had a room available. We went downstairs&ran into the manager of the hotel. He asked if we were leaving or coming. I explained that we were trying to check in but no rooms were ready yet. He expressed surprisethen asked if the front desk had taken our cell phone number. We never got a call from the hotel &ended up just showing up at 1:20 to check in. Then 2 days later,our keys did not work and we had to trek to the lobby & didn't get an apology from the same woman@thefrontdesk.

We've stayed at the hotel several times before the recent renovation by Westin, and were pleasantly surprised by the results.
The staff was exceptional and the new decor is a big plus. Since we once stayed in a room above the alley where the dumpsters were emptied beginning at 4 am on certain days, we requested a quiet room. They placed us in a two story room on floor 5, which I loved. Downstairs has a living area with sofa, flat panel tv, work desk, wet bar, mini bar and closet; upstairs (via spiral stair) is a loft bedroom with king bed, another flat panel tv, closet and bath.
You can tell this is an old building but that is what gives this place such great charm. The proximity to shopping and our favorite restaurants is unbeatable.

I would recommend it to others. The rooms, lobby, entrance, and gym were first class. The service was flawless. The location ideal for shopping and dining. The hotel far exceeded my expectations, especially at the rate I was able to book at.
