Reviews of Bay Breeze Hotel Miami

This hotel is small, cheap and with a pool. The stuff was really nice but the rest was really bad. Don´t believe to those pictures there. Everything is old and dirty. Bathroom wasn´t cleaned for a looong time and windows were disgusting.
It is located near the beach but to get there you have to walk around a couple of hotels so it takes you more than 5 minutes. Parking is relatively expensive (20 USD per night) and late in the night it's problem to find a parking spot.
Our windows were close to the big street so we could hear the very loud traffic.
So its cheap and not very good.

The room was not very clean. It was also very old and outdated. My first impression was that it was a dorm room, it had concrete walls and a tile floor. The previous guest's razor was still in the shower along with a used bar of soap. The furniture was all beat up. Also, the television had a large magnetized spot on the screen about the size of a softball. I you are looking to go cheap, stay here. Just remember, you get what you pay for.

The price is atractive, but...
1) The recepcionists (except 1) are really rude;
2) They don't clean the room every day;
3) The parking lot is a mess;
4) The employees (except the recepcionists) don't speak english;
5) They overbooked 17 rooms on the weekend I was there;
6) They called my room 5 times in a row, after I've told them that I was sleeping, because they've lost my voucher;
7) I did not feel welcome, at all!!!

The facade of the hotel does not do the actual rooms justice. For the price of the hotel it was very nice. The rooms look just like they appear on their website - it is cute, cozy, clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room and the lobby smelled and appeared very clean. The beach is right across the street. I was disappointed to find out there was an additional $10 fee per night not covered by reserving on this site. Another fee to look out for is $20 per night for parking. Either way, the price was still good for the quality and the area. I would recommend for a weekend getaway. However if your desire is for peace and quiet, do know you can hear everything through the walls. I even heard someone fart in the next room.
