Spent one night prior to a cruise. It's just a short cab ride to the port. Ask for a room facing the port. When you wake up you'll see your ship. The hotel has recently been remodeled.

YES, great value for money, friendly and efficeint staff, right in middle of miami downtown close to both airport and port. Will definitely prefer to stay there again...

I would recommend it to others, BUT there are few things...

1. The elevator was not working at one night and so there was a long line of people by the elevator. We were all told that the "it was working" but after waiting for over 15 minutes it turned out that it went under maintenance all night. We all had to use the service elevator which was located in very dusty and "not-so-clean" area. There was also no sign or indication and it was quite hassle.

2. The room was too cold even after I turned off the AC for a day.
