great hotel by the sea and awesome view

Valet parking and self parking was the same price for both. Staff was very friendly. Very modern looking and nice walkin closet beach was right outside very close to malls and casino.

yes, i would recommend this hotel. i just didnt like the charge of $18 for parking per day.

great stay

Would recommend you stay here if you like peace and quiet .somewhat far from the craziness of Ocean drive,but if you don't mind driving ,it's really nice.The rooms are very clean,the staff is friendly and helpful,the pool is great,the beach is footsteps away.The only bad thing is the parking,there isn't any and you have no choice but to pay the $18 per night.I would also stay away from ordering room service or eating at the hotel,unless you like paying $7 for cereal or $6 for 1/2 a grapefruit which is insane.The shopping center across the road from the hotel is also a no no,unless you like to pay top dollar for everything.Don't get me wrong I like nice stuff (eg.Prada,Gucci,Armani,Hugo Boss etc.etc..)But I'm from New York and if you are willing to travel a little bit you can get it at discount no matter what it is,so good luck people.

Good, but not top notch

The Sea View is literally directly across the street from Bal Harbour shopping, it is a great location. The lobby of the building is very nice. The front desk staff were a little difficult to communicate with and at one point they were going to charge us to swtich rooms if a maintainance issue wasn't resolved for us. Fortunately it was-- the lock on our patio door was broken and it took maintaince >1 hour to fix it, but fortunately when we returned from dinner it was all ok and we didn't have to change rooms. We had an "ocean view" double bed room on the first floor. Our room was huge, but the ocean view required you looking out across the roof to the left to see the ocean. They charge $10 for a chair at the pool or at the beach. Path along beach is great!
