I enjoyed my stay at Sonesta Bayfront and would probably recommend it to others visiting the Miami area. The location was nice because it is local to shops and restaurants, all within walking distance. it is also close to the bay and a few parks. I preferred to stay further from Miami Beach because the beach tends to attract rowdier crowds. The location was still just a 15 minute drive away from the beach, so it was still in a pretty good location if that's your thing. I booked a room with a balcony view of the city, it overlooked the local shops and some of the high rises in the distance. It was a slightly larger than a standard hotel room, compared to lets say a Holiday Inn. The restaurant was rather small, I only ordered desserts which came in very small portions.

We loved our stay at the Sonesta Bayfront Hotel.
The price we found with Skoosh was fantastic, and included buffet breakfast for two, that would have cost as much as we paid for the room!
The location is great, in a safe feeling part of Miami, by the marina. Great place to be, lots of nightlife steps from the hotel.
The pool area was also nice, with a great view.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

We had a great stay at the Sonesta. The room was very nice and clean. The bed, sheets, and pillows were incredibly comfortable. We also had great views of the city. The only down side is that they charge you $23 a day if you park with them. However, there is a parking garage right next to the hotel which is $15 a day.

The people were very accommodating. We had a beautiful view of the city, however, the room was quite small. The next time we would probably go for the larger room with a balcony.
