Hotel Tres Cruces

We would recommend this hotel for the budget conscious. We have stayed there a few times & find the staff helpful and the hotel clean, comfortable, fairly quiet, with a good breakfast. The location is very good, especially if you are without a car. It´s a few minutes from Tres Cruces Mall & Bus Station (which services the whole of Uruguay). Also buses to all areas of the city run close by. We always feel rested after our long trip from Canada.

The price was OK, but it is clearly not a 3 star hotel. The online picture must have been PhotoShopped. The staff was nice and it is very close to the bus terminal - just a couple of blocks walk. The hotel is in need of upkeep. The room was clean, the breakfast is meager.

won't recommend.
not only desperately in need of an update. room and bathroom both so tight, even for a 150 pounder like me.
price low, but reflects on quality. I believe there are better places in Montevideo for the same price.
didn't meet my expectation. their star rating is misleading.
