The air-conditioned establishment is a bold new hotel featuring a total of 136 guest rooms with loft-inspired design and French Canadian flair. The hotel lobby provides a 24-hour reception and check-out service, cloakroom, safe, lift access and currency exchange facilities. There is also a café for enjoying a coffee, a bar for that relaxing after-work drink, conference facilities and a games room. Breakfast is served in the breakfast room and the hotel offers Internet access. Guests can make use of the hotel's laundry service and the car park. This airport hotel, built in 2008, is located a quick 15-minute drive from the culture, cuisine, and commerce of downtown Montreal. It is also just minutes from the baggage reclaim area, yet light years from all those run-of-the-mill airport hotels. The hotel is some 20 minutes from the Palais des Congres, the Notre Dame Basilica and Old Montreal, whilst only 1 km from Montreal's Trudeau International Airport. The hotel features an indoor heated swimming pool and gym which are complimentary for all guests. There is also a sun terrace with loungers and parasols as well as pool and snooker. The hotel serves a continental breakfast and set menu options at lunch and dinner. From Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (YUL): Exit the terminal on Boulevard Roméo-Vachon. Having left the main terminal area, continue for less than 500 m. Merge left onto the ramp for route 520 (very briefly). Immediately take the next left into the large hotel car park and then follow the signs to the hotel.

Aloft Montreal near the airport

Hotel is near the airport and has a free shuttle. Exactly what we needed for an early departure. Its clean, with urban & modern style. Bar is great but there is no restaurant. A service of snak is available and some Catering but the price is too high for what it is. Personnel is young and have a tendency to speak too fast and sometimes seems as if we are disturbing them. Hotel is a bit far from downtown but recommended for transfer at the airport. The price offered by Skoosh was good and below what the hotel could offer.

Excellent stay at the Aloft Montreal Airport Hotel

We would highly recommend this hotel to others--everything was fine and exceeded our expectations. The hotel staff was very accommodating to our needs. The receptionist at the front desk was particularly helpful and printed out a new e-ticket for our flight which had changed at the last minute. The always-available hotel shuttle service between the Viarail station and hotel as well as the hotel and the airport was most appreciated. Also, the hotel allowed us to check into the room before noon. With the special rate offered by Skoosh, we could afford to stay in this very nice hotel.

Aloft not for the stodgy.

Feels like a hip bar not an airport lobby. Beds comfortable, great shower space, sustainable amenities/recycling. Basic done stylish - this price was a match for product. Try the sister property in Portland, Oregon!

We thought the Aloft Montreal is worth considering.

The Aloft at Montreal airport was perfectly situated for our early morning flight. The room was very clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Bed was very comfortable. Sheets and towels were excellent and cosy. Staff helpful and efficient. Our only disappointment was the loud music that we assumed was coming from the hotel bar area. I had asked for a quiet room and was reassured that all the rooms were quiet. So I was not impressed to be given a room almost directly above the bar area from which the music was loud and thumping. My last look at the clock was at 12:15 am and I could still hear the music. Not great when the alarm went off 5 hours later and we set off on our 30 hour journey. Next time I would insist on a much quieter room or would rate the stay as lacking.
