Le Meridien Versailles-Montreal

The bed was very comfortable. The shower had great water pressure. The location is great. But, this is a 3 star hotel, not a 4 star and not a "normal" Meridien hotel. The room and bathroom were small, dark, and depressing. The sink faucet barely had any pressure at all. The window opened right up to the hotel next door. I don't often have the "uh oh, how sad" experience on entering a hotel room. But, I made the most of it. If you expect a starwood meridien experience, this is not it. It is a cheap hotel (if you get a deal) in a great and quiet location. The metro is down the street. The premiere maison bakery is about 2 blocks away. If you need a cheap place to crash, this is good.

We would definitely recommend it to others! The room condition was wonderful and the ambiance very pleasant. The hotel is a couple of blocks away from the Metro and is on a very pleasant street. We could see Mount Royal Park above from our window and there's a wonderful Bakery only a block or so away for breakfast coffee, croissants and pastries,

The location was great, lots of good restaurants nearby and the metro was close also. The room cleanliness was excellent as was the decour--very classy! The service was outstanding. My only dissappointments were that my room was smaller than my friends' who had paid the same as I. and the bathroom was very tight.

They didn't have a really Deluxe room as described but offered to switch the next day but didn't. Although the breakfast was included in Skoosh's offer we were not on the list and this had to be corrected by the next day.(The breakfast is worth it, but only continental not hot food) Room was comfortable and service was good for Montreal ie: friendly,eventually attentive,helpful. We've stayed here twice visiting our recent McGill graduate,and twice more at the "sister" Chateau Versaillles across the street and would probably stay here again and recommend them both. The Chateau has no elevator.

I would definitely recommend this hotel for people who enjoy a clean, relaxed, friendly atmosphere. I can't believe the deal I got for such a great place!

The staff was very friendly, and helpful when we called down to reception to ask where the ice machines were, they actually brought a bucket up to our room!

The only negative thing I'd have to say (since it can't be perfect, but it came pretty darn close) was that the bathroom was a tad small.... but not a huge issue for us really. Being a young couple we just enjoyed the privacy and couldn't have asked for anything more!

Thank you to the staff at LMV. We will definitely be staying there during our next trip to Montreal!
