In short i can only say i was lucky to see the skoosh site and was able to book the hotel with the best possible price with much better rate than i was finding

Yes, it was inexpensive, the staff was friendly and accommodating, extremely convenient in terms of location, clean, free continental breakfast. Great for younger travelers.

another nice stay at this hotel...always enjoy myself when i am there...everything is walking distance...sights ...shopping...eating...nightlife..is within reach.

If you are looking for a hugh end hotel in the heart of Montreal and near Old City Montreal this is the place for you. Rooms are well appointmented and very comfortable.

The lobby was impressive, front desk very efficient & helpful, decent restaurant/bar on premises. Breakfast was not included, but maybe for the price we paid we shouldn't have expected that. We were looking for a motel with complimentary shuttle to airport & that they had. The only negative we saw was that the carpet in the hallway on 1st floor was spotted and dirty looking. Otherwise the room was comfortable, clean & suited our purpose for one night.

We come from Hong Kong and stay in Sandman for 1 night. Very good location hotel. Next to the Metro station. Clean and comfortable room. We have 4 people and booked a room with 2 queen-size bed in good price.

Free parking. We parked the car in the hotel and buy a all day pass (CAN $7) for the Metro. We go by the Metro to the downtown and MTR in hong kong. Do not drive to the downtown because it's difficult for you to find a parking.

Go to the St. Laurvent Metro station. You need to take an 5-8mins walk to the China Town of Montreal.

Yes, We took pictures & had fun with the arcade section.
Impressed by beautiful settings (very picturesque). The Room was musty & the night time manager was unaccommodating. We were suppose to have a cot & did not get one. Child slept on floor. Daytime manager made up for it with free lunch which was delicious.

First off, I just want to say what a great hotel this was. We arrived early and was able to check in. The hotel room is nice and the bathroom is spectacular. The beds are very comfortable. The only this I noticed was the walls were pretty thin and you could hear everything. Otherwise the reception was kind and the service was great. Highly recommend for couples. Great location and good rates.

Embassy Suites was great!
The suites were beautiful and in a great part of downtown; right beside Old Montreal and St. Catherines!
Expensive but enjoyable....all our expectations were met this weekend!

The hotel has a good location, the building is nice and the room is in great condition. The front desk staff is friendly, welcoming, doing a great job. My disappointment was the housekeeping staff, most of them do not speak English, however you can hear their French as early as 8:30 AM on the corridor, which makes totally impossible to sleep any longer. The Housekeeping Manager did not respect the DND sign in the door and did not ask the attendant to clean the room in the time frame that I requested. The breakfast is just ridiculous and I can call neither European nor Continental, it is composed just of boiled eggs, bread, croissant, some kind of muffins, cereals, butter, and you can make your own pancakes if you are lucky to see the attendant and ask how to use the electrical device. I definitely recommend the hotel for anyone

It was a good value for the money, and for us, well located. It's in the Latin Quarter and walking distance (perhaps a bit of a long walk) to the restaurants and shops in the Plateau, where we spent time.

Pros:

Spectaular Room!
Great Location
Well Priced

Cons:

Parking is a block away and no valet
Had 4th floor room - no elevator
Ask about your room, some have a bathroom that is in the hall

Overall, I would recommend this "boutique" hotel - very novel and well-furnished!

Hotel is near the airport and has a free shuttle. Exactly what we needed for an early departure. Its clean, with urban & modern style.
Bar is great but there is no restaurant. A service of snak is available and some Catering but the price is too high for what it is.
Personnel is young and have a tendency to speak too fast and sometimes seems as if we are disturbing them.
Hotel is a bit far from downtown but recommended for transfer at the airport.
The price offered by Skoosh was good and below what the hotel could offer.

We found the hotel to be located in an ideal central location to down town montreal and more importantly near the Bell Center where we attended two hockey games.The staff was extremely helpful and polite including the parking attendant and the girls cleaning the rooms were very friendly and informative.My wife found the rooms very cozy and clean.If i had anything negative I was disappointed that the room had no refrigerator and one of the double beds in the room was a bit worn out thus producing a pocket where you slept.No problem because the other bed was great.All things considered our vacation was great and we would recommend this hotel....older but nice.
