The location of the hotel is great. We could not get our room as cool as we would have liked, but it was acceptable. The value was acceptable since there is no charge for parking.

The rooms are large and even had a small kitchen - but only the fridge and sink worked. Bathrooms are old, but clean. Hotel is a bit run down, but the pool is nice. We prefer The Historic French Market Inn, because it is closer to the French Quarter. The free self-park is nice though!

I would recommend it highly because it represents good value, has convenient self-parking, a great staff, and a slighty funky atmosphere. A bit worn at the heels, but that doesn't detract from the overall satisfaction it provides
