Excellent stay at the Royal Sonesta in Oct. 08, would recommend for all except those with young children, not for the hotel, but for the fact that it is right in the middle of the "action" on Bourbon St.
Only reservation was the fact that one couple in our group got a room with little hot water. The hotel acknowledged the problem as a design flaw, and upgraded them to a suite! A day later, another couple in our group had to change rooms due to no fault of the hotel's, but were surprised to find they had been issued the othe rcoupple's room with no hot water! After complaining, they too were accommodated very well.
All in all, a very good experience, great hotel.

The hotel was top notch, but the convenience was my favorite part of The Royal Sonesta Hotel! While celebrating New Orleans, we must have made 5-6 quick trips to the hotel to get something or drop it off. The Royal Sonesta is right in the middle of everything you need to experience! Plus, we did not have to worry about parking for our entire stay!
