I stayed in the Springhill Suites New Orleans near the Convention Center for 6 nights lately. The hotel location was excellent, the room was very clean and convenient, the breakfast was great, and the staff were very helpful. It's really good value for money and my stay was better than expected. I'd sure like to stay there again.

Price to Value was perfect. It meet my expecations. It wont blow you away, but its a good value. Staff was friendly, included breakfast was very appreciated all your standard stuff. Very close to the convention center which was why I booked it. One issue I had was the rooms were not too sound proof. The people next to me were having a party that I could hear easily through the walls. But the rooms were large, clean and basic. The first floor street level room takes a bit to getting use to. I checked in early and thats all that was available, but they were happy to move me if I wanted to wait for a room. I took it and it really wasnt that bad. The windows were so thick you could only hear very loud sirens or motorcycles go by. I would book again.

We traveled with an infant and they were very accomodating. The rooms were spacious so we didn't feel cramped. The location was perfect for access to the Convention Center and Riverwalk and only 20-30 minute walk to the French Quarter. I recommend it highly to anyone who will be attending a convention or conference but it may not be optimal location for visiting the French Quarter, unless you don't mind a short walk to/from each day.

The free breakfast each morning was great with a wide variety of hot and cold options. For the value that we received, we could not ask for anything else.

CONS: No restaurant onsite for room service, etc but plenty of options were located within 1-2 blocks.
