Friendly little hotel in manhattan. Would definitly stay there again.

I would recommend this hotel to others definitely.

Good points:
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The room was very large and spacious.
Our view of the Chrysler building from the hotel was just incredible.
The bed was enormous and very comfortable.
Overall it was a pretty nice room.
Near the main attractions without being too in the thick of it.

Bad points:
Our "neighbours" were smokers and their cigarette smoke seeped through the adjoining door and it stank our room out. YUCK. I would've rated it 5 stars had this not been the case.
Some fixtures looking a little tired (particulary the bathroom)
Cool that would had a kitchen but it wasn't the nicest to be honest.

I would definitely recommend this hotel. The staff was friendly and accommodating - especially the doormen and concierge. It is a good value for the money... still expensive, but a lovely hotel in a great neighborhood, easy to get to from JFK, and huge rooms by NYC standards.
Overall - excellent value.

good location, near the public transport stops; our room was big and nice, very clean and comfortable, a bit pricy, but is NY... Service and staff excellent
