The hotel is located opposite Penn Station, minutes from Madison Square Garden on the west side of midtown Manhattan. Located in one of the City's most exciting neighborhoods, the hotel offers unrivaled access to transportation, city attractions, corporate offices and event sites, famous shopping, and the entertainment of Madison Square Garden and Broadway theaters. Amenities include a fitness center, business center and meeting facilities. NOTE: Effective December 1, 2006 this hotel will be a non-smoking property. Hotel has a traditional style. ******************************************************************************** The Hotel is currently under renovations floor by floor until the end of Aug 2011. There will be minimal or no distrubance to guests and will not affect the public areas of the hotel. ****************************************************************************** Each guest is responsible for incurred incidental charges during their stay. Upon arrival, guests will be required to provide a valid credit card or nightly cash deposit to secure any incidental charges. Hotel has a full-service restaurant which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated in a classic style yet still offering the finest in modern conveniences and the custom-designed Affinia Bed offering the perfect balance of warmth, softness and support. The newly renovated lobby is large with a huge front desk. 15 kms to the airport (la guardia), 24 kms to the airport (jfk).

THE place to stay for DMB at MSG

Was in town for the Dave Matthews show at the Garden. Had to say at the Affinia as it's right across from the arena. Big living room, two bathrooms, full kitchen...what's not to love? Great service and location. Will be back again when I come to NY.

Best NYC location - Affinia Manhattan

I would definitely recommend the Affinia Manhattan. It's perfectly located within minutes of Times Square and with the Empire State Building just around the corner, it's a tourist's dream! The staff are the hotel's best asset - so friendly and helpful, much more so than expected; they go the extra mile to assist in any way possible. The rooms we had were fine - clean and very spacious, with the only drawback in one of the suites being a tiny bathroom. In comparison with other Manhattan hotels, the Affinia is not expensive - however it would be costly if staying more than 2 or 3 days. A work colleague recommended the hotel to me and I would happily stay there again. It was worth every penny.

Affinia room is bigger than most NYC appts !

This was our second stay at this hotel. We go to NYC quite often due to our daughter attending school in CT. I love the location and spaciousness of this hotel. Our room had a King bed with a pull out couch and a kitchenette and 2 bathrooms. It was just a short walk to the subway. The staff were friendly and helpful. We always felt welcome and safe. Highly recommended - we'll definitely return.

A good stay

The hotel is centrally located. Subway station is right across the street to go either downtown or uptown. The hotel decor is a bit outdated. The room is nice and big. Our room has 2 tiny showers and it worked out great for our family. Over all we had a good stay.

Great hotel in great location

We really enjoyed staying at the Affinia Manhattan. The room was a decent size for NYC, very clean, had great amenities such as a refrigerator and dishes, and the location near Penn Station was very convenient for visiting the various landmarks.
