Arlington Hotel

The Arlington is located in the Chelsea District, between Midtown and Greenwich Village, this hotel is also just 3 blocks from the nearest station, so the rest of Manhattan is within easy reach. The rooms have all been recently refurbished and are basic but clean and contain the necessities. There is a restaurant on site which doesn't look too great on the outside but the food is good and you can watch it being cooked. If you don't fancy it, there are plenty of places a short walk away for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The hotel is within walking distance of the Empire State Building, Madison Square Garden, and all major shopping centers. It's a good choice for those travelling on a budget and the staff are all friendly. They are still undergoing some renovations (March 2006) so it's worth checking with the hotel direct before booking.
