We were visiting someone at Sloan Kettering, and this was the closest hotel. Very nice room and bath at a reasonable price. The lobby was very chilly and the hallway was very warm. Strange. But otherwise, it was very good

I would recommend the Bentley for anyone wanting a convenient location on the East side, mid-town. Very attractive lobby, great rooms with comfortable beds and good bathrooms. Met all my expectations. Great value for the money.

We were in NY to support a relative at Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital. The Bentley staff was extremely helpful and caring, and the restaurant/bar was great. The location was perfect, and the price was exceptional (for NYC). We are looking forward to going back when we can enjoy the city more.

Would highly recommend this hotel. Convenient to the subways,and buses, just outside the door; lots of restuarants around the hotel, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Well worth the money, and the view of the East River is nice.

Visiting friends on E65thSt. so location was perfect ,we walked back and forth from their apt.Check in was easy and desk staff friendly.We were upgraded to superior ( larger)room-very large by NY standards.Decor was modern/contenporary and upscale.Bath-marble tiles and huge mirrors.Great city and river views.Check-out fast and smooth. Would definitely stay there again if we need to be in that NY location.

Can't recommend this hotel to others. Upon check in I was told that I received an upgrade, but it was to the second floor and the room was dirty. Hate to think about where they upgraded me from!
The service was awful, from the subdued check in girl to the sniveling bell man. Not friendly, but not out right rude. Just seemed unhappy to be there.
The cost was in line with other hotels in NY.
No, my expectations were not met. I will not go back and will not suggest any of my business colleagues do so either.

The hotel appears to be very upscale from the exterior and the lobby. The check in was very quick and they stated that they upgraded us to a deluxe room. Rooms very small, acceptable cleanliness. No closet, no luggage rack no where to place suitcase except the floor: refrigerator for medication requested in advance an extra $10 per night as well as $10 per night for wi-fi hook up. Small rather battered refrigerator which was delivered and there was difficulty finding an outlet. No instructions provided as to where an ice machine or soda machine was located. The room was very superficially cleaned after first night- they took the glasses and they were not replaced, there was no new soap left, hot water waswarm in shower.

they charged me if i took something out of the mini fridge for more than 20 seconds. unacceptable.

If you have plans to go to the Art Auctions or other kind of auction in Sothebys at NY this is the best choice. It is not a fancy hotel buy is very confortable and not so expensive like almost all good hotels in NY are.
This was my third time in the Bentley, good situation, quiet, clean, good service, good food, four blocks from Sothebys ,not far from Bloomingdale.

Great hotel for the money. Location was nice - not a bad cab ride or walk to everything we wanted to see. The rooms were nice and clean and the staff members were extremely helpful and pleasant.
