The journey from Newark was a bit of a nightmare, and my first thoughts of the Hotel were "needs a makeover", however, the rooms were comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the free transport service was a blessing. The breakfasts were good, if you like making your own waffles, which I did, but I think if you were there for a long while it could become "same old", and my husband did not like the plastic plates and cutlery. Our overall impression however was good, it's a place to stay short term if you are doing the sights of New York. We felt safe and well cared for.

Checked in late and reception was helpful. Pointed out a good pub next door, Bantry Bay with decent food that serves late.On site parking was delighful and rare in these parts.Room was v spacious, quiet and clean. Scrambled eggs and sausage, waffles for breakfast -wasnt great but wasnt bad either. Had a workout treadmill in the room for crying out loud. Will stay again.
