The Dream is located between Times Square North and Columbus Circle, close to all sightseeing and shopping in NYC, Rockefeller Center, Times Square, Broadway Theatre and Central Park. A very unique hotel, one of a kind for New York City. Traditional Exterior. Hotel as two restaurants and three lounges. Sleek modern black floors that gaze up into a vaulted, mirrored ceiling reflecting blown glass flames sitting atop decorative columns. Huge charcoal murals alongside billowing curtains create a surreal atmosphere. The lobby has 1940's style seating and hand carved lions heads that greet you upon check in. There is a 4, 000 gallon fish tank in the center of the lobby, it is North America's largest indoor aquarium. The Dream's 216 guest rooms and suites are aglow with an otherworldly blue light and filled with every kind of modern gadget, including 37 inch wall mounted Plasma TV's, an Apple IPOD preloaded(upon request) with ambient sound and connected to Bose stereo speakers. Interior and bedding are all white. Rooms are Middle/Superior Rooms with Queen size Beds. 16 kms to the airport (la guardia), 2 km to the nearest fair site (jacob javits), 24 kms to the airport (jfk), Close to the station (grand central).

The Dream's A Dream

This is the second time I've stayed at the Dream Hotel. I like the location and it's only a short taxi ride or a nice walk to Broadway and Central Park is only a few blocks away. The Dream is a total hotel with restaurant, roof top bar, room service, and complimentary wi-fi. I always get annoyed when I have to pay for wi-fi in a hotel. I find the hotel staff friendly and eager to make your stay with them pleasant. The rooms are clean and nicely appointed with very comfortable beds. Some of the rooms are somewhat on the small side but still efficient for a travelers needs. I will stay at the Dream again when I return to NYC.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful — This was my first stay at the Dream Hotel and it was very enjoyable. The hotel is decorated very nicely in a modern motif and appeared clean & neat. My room, although a little on the small side was comfortable & clean. The hotel staff was most accommodating for any of my needs. I only had one very small item concerning a bit of mold showing on the grout in the shower which the hotel took care of when I mentioned it to them. Overall I really liked staying at the Dream Hotel and would heartily recommend it to anyone. And the rate that I got through Skoosh was a terrific value. I will certainly consider staying at the Dream again in the future!

I love NY Dream

GREAT location; clean room, hip style, nice extras (plush robe and good bath products). Kudos to the desk and valet staff for their friendly service/advice. Near perfect stay at this sold-out hotel with several parties/events happening except for one incident... around 3a.m. my sleep was interrupted by a band of shrieking females searching for "the party floor." They stumbled off after a minute... alas it could happen anywhere in NYC. Recommended!

Dream was perfect for us.

The staff (front desk, doormen, maids) were all excellent, the location perfect. The rooms were smallish but not exceedingly so. Modern vibe, neon lights in the room that was cool but could be turned off too. Skoosh gave us the best rate online and we would use them again.
