Featuring a classic Irish pub, this European-style hotel is less than 1 block from Grand Central Station. Concierge services and a traditional Irish breakfast are available all day. I would recommend to others it was a lovely hotel rooms were nice standard size very clean. Staff friendly and very helpful (they discovered it was my birthday and when I arrived back to the room there was complimentary wine and strawberries for me nice touch) it is more expensive than other hotels but you get what you pay for

Yes, I would recommend to others. The room was lovely and spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable, although the room would have been a little small if I were travelling with a companion and staying more than 1 or 2 nights. There were two minor things that could have been improved: the only towel bar in the bathroom was over the tub (awkward for hand towels) and there was minimal hotel information in the room and no room service menu. Staff was quite helpful in answering questions and giving directions. Great location! Yes, my expectations were met - in fact, exceeded.

Lovely Hotel, Clean, Great Location

We picked the Fitzpatrick because of its location. To be honest if you are spending a lot of time in a hotel in NY you are missing out. You need somewhere clean and central with pleasant staff and this ticks all the boxes. The rooms are average size with a good bathroom We had a room overlooking the patio so it was noisy during the day but it closed at 11pm and was fine then even for light sleepers. Would stay here again.

Great Hotel

I stay in many hotels in Europe with my job. I found the Fitzpatrick Grand Central a really lovely hotel. The room we had was extremeley spacious for New York standards. We had two double beds. It was clean, quiet and a very good standard. The Concierge Michael was the most helpful young man ever, he greeted us each day with a really friendly smile and helped us with all our signtseeing ideas, booking of restaurant reservations and anything else we needed he was spot on. His customer service along with the other staff was second to none. The location of the Hotel could not of been better, for walking to different districts of with the Grand Central Station only 2 minutes walk away it was perfect for getting around whereever you wanted to be. Great Hotel, Great Location will be the only hotel I ever book now in NewYork.
