I stay in many hotels in Europe with my job. I found the Fitzpatrick Grand Central a really lovely hotel. The room we had was extremeley spacious for New York standards. We had two double beds. It was clean, quiet and a very good standard. The Concierge Michael was the most helpful young man ever, he greeted us each day with a really friendly smile and helped us with all our signtseeing ideas, booking of restaurant reservations and anything else we needed he was spot on. His customer service along with the other staff was second to none. The location of the Hotel could not of been better, for walking to different districts of with the Grand Central Station only 2 minutes walk away it was perfect for getting around whereever you wanted to be. Great Hotel, Great Location will be the only hotel I ever book now in NewYork.

nice , cute, familial hotel in the middle of Manhattan, walking distance to almost everywhere.

Good location within walking distance to everything(bring good pair of trainers). Room was very very small, heat in our room wasnt up to scratch kept breaking down, and it was needed!! Hotel staff helpful. Hotel was very much over rated. But for a short stay its ok, clean and tidy. Was a little disappointed. Expensive for what you get!

We thought it was a good value for the money. We had a little trouble navigating the subway system at first but we finally figured it out. Bedding was wonderful, clean, quiet, and a nicelly stocked bathroom. We actually spent very little time in the room but while we were there, we enjoyed it.

Hotel was great, but we got a queen-sized bed instead of the two doubles we requested. When we asked to switch, the hotel was unable to accomodate us, so we were stuck with the queen.
The Wheeltapper pub (inside the hotel) was great. We went there for drinks and for brunch the next morning.
