Excellent location, although not too much to expect from the room, but overall very good for those who are interested in the city and not planning to stay all the time in the hotel. A bit oldish but clean and well functionning room, funny hotel, friendly staff.

Gershwin is near enough to Times Square and the very delicious Korean street (Korea Way). The hotel was clean and big enough for two. I did request to have a non-smoking room and my reservation did say queen/king bed but we only got a Full size bed on a smoking floor when getting there. But it was ok, it did the job just fine and the cigarette smoke did not come through to our room. They rooms were nothing fancy inside. If you just need a clean room to stay/sleep and in the city this is the place for you.

Convenient location, clean, comfortable, curtious and helpful staff. Would stay there again and recomend it to friends with the caution that the Gershwin provides the basics, but does it well.

All hotels in Manhattan are overpriced and the Gershwin is no exception. On arrival we were downgraded without any discussion from Superior w/2 double beds ("deluxe Room with new ammenities"), which we had paid for, to Superior w/2 single beds ("newly designed bath facilities").
The room was spacious enough, but everything in the room was old and worn out and the window was the smallest we had ever seen. We couldn´t figure out, what were the "newly designed bath facilities" - the bathroom furniture was very old-fashioned. The safety deposit box was a plus.
The location is very good, the subway station and many restaurants nearby.

the location was really great. It was convenient to access the time square and other place to visit for business trip. The price was also good for the condition.
However, I disappointed on their service and the way to treat to guest. I brought my invoice from skoosh but they didn't check the referal number and made wrong check in information. Staffs who are working there were not professonal and nice to guests. If you are not planning to stay the room that much, it will be good deal but if you are trying to find cozy place to take a rest from the business trip, it won't give you the satisfaction.
