Port Authority Bus Terminal, Grand Central Train Station, all Subway trains, local bus stops and Pennsylvania Train Station are nearby. New York Inn boasts 45 guest rooms that are comfortable and equipped with modern amenities. Papa Johns and Subway Restaurants are located on premises serving sandwiches and pizzas. Furthermore, several restaurants and bars are close by, where you can taste a variety of international cuisine. Conference facilities are also available for your business needs.
I wont recommend that place unless you like mice in your "room".
The only good things : the nice people attending and the good location, the hostel itself is a joke, a bad joke, for 100 Euros or more a day it costs it should be something kinda decent I think.
They have a real problem with mice, they are all around and when it gets dark they come out and mess in the rooms, a it is a shame.

Don't like the New York Inn

Rooms were very small and also the showers. The lobby smells like Subway (restaurant) all the time.

the smallest hotel

For a single person with plans to see the city and lodging is of minimal importance you will find the location is good, the management is helpful and accomodating. The rooms and bathrooms are as small as any I have ever seen, the building is really old and needs some work.

located in the heart of Manhattan, less than 5 mins walk from Time Sq and Broadway...
However, rooms v small, everything was old (not dirty tho), and v small
no lift - even to the 3rd and 4th floor
