Stayed there for New Years. Would be probably the 5th year doing this with Family and friends for new years but have been going to this hotel for probably 15 years. Very Disappointing, staff at reception were terrible, probably the worse service I have ever received, paid the extra through skoosh to have two queen beds, when checked in they gave us two rooms ground floor where we had to walk outside to get to pool, travelling with kids and had double beds in room, did say we could have a cot at one point but there was no room for a cot. Basically said it was our problem and to notify skoosh which I did and they did give us a credit and tried to help, service was great! One thing about Michael's, was always had great service, not anymore. It is to bad having been going there for years and the location is great and would like to return. Not sure if the young girl who works the front desk is the owners kids or what, but the first thing they need to do is get rid of her! She couldn't even answer one questions and gave us different prices for upgrades then the other person at counter was crazy, she is not new as I had see the same unpleasant girl in the summer months when I stayed there. Real shame has gone down hill, reno's will not make up for the poor service. Manager basically said we got a good deal through skoosh so we shouldn't expect much. He did finally give us 2 vouchers for breakfast, there was four of us! lol but took a lot of complaining for him to do that, he did not care if we came back or not, terrible service, they should of kept the same staff who new how to treat the guests! Would not recommend to anyone.
