I would definitely recommend this hotel. The view was spectacular. The room was very clean and had everything we needed...even a great breakfast included....

Not only did the room look like a cheap Motel 6, but the walls were paper thin. We were kept up until 2am by a rambuncious couple on one side and a group of teenage girls having a catfight on the other. We called security twice but nothing was done aobut it. Then when we complained in the morning all we got was attitude - "what do you want me to do about it?"
I wouldn't reccomend this hotel to anyone. Just pay $60 more and stay at the Hilton or the Casino.

I recommend this hotel because is located, near many restaurants and the casino. To go to the falls either you walk for about 20 minutes or pay $2 each way this service closes at 10 pm. Hotel was clean people very friendly and helpful. Parking in the hotel will cost you $12.50 per day

Booked this hotel for 1 night for self, partner and son for a brief visit to the Falls.
However, although the location was good (almost on top of the Canadian Falls and away from the frankly down-market centre of Niagara Falls), the visit left us somewhat disappointed given the price.
1. Room was Fallside only. In other words (in our case) on the 5th floor, insufficiently high up to give a good view of the Falls themselves. If you stay here book a FallsVIEW room. My fault on this one;
2. Aircon in room not working efficiently despite the noisy fan;
3. General rundown, not too clean decor in room;
4. Fitness facility - I've got more equipment at home!
Overall not great value for money, and we were pleased that we hadn't booked to stay longer.

This was my second time at Oakes. Previously I was in one of the top floors, and it was really really nice! Fallsview Lounge on the floor 14 is very nice too. This time I chose a more economic room and they gave me courtyard view room... it was very bad, crappy, dirty and noisy. For the price I paid (over $150 - 4 guests), you can get any motel in the area with free breakfast and free parking. I would not recommend it unless you pay more and get top floors (5-18). Dont listen to the woman at the lounge selling "bargains" for Niagara trips and go to the information kiosks at the falls. Good Luck!

Location was excellent. View is fantastic. The closest to the Falls. Service was outstanding. Its a little out of date and its not luxury as the advertise themselves.

Great location, close to everything. Had rooms on the second and third floors, you can see the falls even from there. Parking was inlcuded, very fast check-in, check-out. Would definitely recommend for the price.

Right in the heart of downtown, across from Keg, close to everything. Simple, clean rooms, great for families. Highly recommend.
