Reviews of Queen's Landing Niagara On The Lake

I would most certainly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Niagara on the Lake. In fact, I already have. It was elegant, comfortable and cozy all at the same time. Anyone with a bit of time to spare must check out the library. The pool and hot tub were spectacular and we found ourselves trying to find something that we didn't love. We couldn't. Do yourself a favor and spend a beautiful long weekend at the Queen's landing, and have a spot of tea at the Prince of Wales while you are at it. Then take a long horse drawn carriage ride about town. After browsing the shops, and stopping down at the gazebo you will want to head back to Queen's landing and relax by the pool or curl up in the library with a good book.

Delightfully elegent. The staff is top notch. Our accomodations were luxurious. Sunday brunch was excellent and the fresh flowers around every corner added the final touch! You won't be sorry you chose the Queen's Landing.

When we got to Queens Landing Inn and tried to check-in, we were told that we had actually booked the Pillar and Post, which was a lie. Even though we had prepaid the whole stay, we were told Queens Landing was fully booked and that we were booked with the Pillar and Post. I believe they might have oversold and then booked us in one of their other properties (Pillar and Post and also the Prince of Wales belong to the same company). We were very upset. The folks at the Pillar and Post tried to make up for that mistake by givings us an upgrade and a free brunch. The Pillar and Post turned out to be nice enough but a little out of the way. You can't really walkdowntown.

It's an older building so the water pressure for the shower was very weak and the toilet kept running unless we lifted the top and fixed it. We did not get any service at the one restaurant and the at the other the lady gave us a hard time because we didn't have reservations ( the place was nearly empty- and didn't fill up much even after we were seated)
The staff was friendly, but I would not ever stay here again. For being a "Vintage Hotel" I was very disappointed. The Pillar and Post, as well as The Prince of Wales hotels were phenominal.
