City centre hotel. Discounted parking. Rooms very quiet and bed very comfortable. When we checked in there were two big groups of hen-nighters checking in too, so we were expecting lots of noise late in the night, but there was none. Only down side was the self service breakfast. it was chaotic although i think our timing was bad, because once we had sat down to eat, the servery area was clear so if we had gone to breakfast then, we would have had a different experience. The food was good and fresh. Very clean and good reception staff. Would definitely go again and recommend to friends.

Good Budget Hotel

For: Nice hotel room Good bathroom Fantastic central location Reasonable and helpful staff Cheap Againts: Full of stag/hen do's on a weekend, though we didn't hear them in our room. Can't get to hotel in car. Need to park up an walk. NO BACON at breakfast. Actually the food was cheap anyway For a party night on the town, excelent. For a romantic retreat forget it! I partied and it was good!

Enjoyable weekend

We only stayed for 2 nights but the service was good , rooms were great for the price and it was very central. Would defiantly recommend it more than an Ibis

Great, but the parking...

Room was great: clean, had soap and shower gel, good shower, clean sheets, free wake-up call on the phone, TV had terrestrial, tea making facilities. Didn't appear to be near any local clubs, if it was we didn't hear anything. There is no on-Site parking. You're asking to park in a nearby NCP and if you hand in the ticket to the Hotel, they'll reduce the bill to £8. We found a nearby NCP (above Gala bingo) and it turned out to be the wrong one. Another customer in hotel said apparently there was a 30min queue to get into the official car park, we were late for a Wedding, so... Â£14. Breakfast (between 8am and 10am) was buffet-style, and a complete mess, disorganized, no clean plates, bowls, burned croissants. If need parking and decent breakfast, go elsewhere.
