poor security

Review by: Valeriy , Moscow, Russian Federation

The hotel is OK, but security is rather poor. One day thieves opened about dozen rooms, including mine, and my notebook was gone. If you do not plan to leave any valuables in the room, this hotel is good value for money (4th night was free)

Location was good. Premises and the room acceptable standard and clean. Quiet enough. Breakfast very OK.

Then Anker Hotel in Oslo was conveniently located.

Yes, I recommend the Anker Hotel to others. The breakfasts were great! It was a good value for the money. Being on the tram and bus lines was convenient. We purchased the 3-day Oslo Pass so could ride trams and buses from just a block from the hotel. Our expectations were met. We did not need a large room since we were gone most of the time. The room was quiet, and we slept well.

The Anker Hotel in Oslo was very average

Review by: Kate

Stayed: Apr 2010

Would not reccommend to others - it was being renovated at the time and half of our room's window was covered with insulation and the view outside the room was of garbage and concrete. The room was very basic and the bathroom was very outdated. However, the staff were lovely.
