For lodging not recommendable but ok for breakfast buffet The room given has no heat but a temporary portable heater was provided. Not at current price paid, Hotel is doing renovation jn itsexterior structures but interior should also be done before offering for booking. I was disappointed.

It was a hotel that have not been renovated since it was built in the sixties. Mold everywhere with terrible smells. Bad and expensive internet. I would not reccomend this hotel to anyone.

Hotel Carlton in central Oslo

I stayed at the hotel Carlton for 3 nights, and thought that it was good value for what i paid. The room was small but clean, the only thing that wasn't good with the room itself was the bed,i had booked a double bed, and found that it was more or less two single camping beds that was pushed together. Apart from that the staff was very nice and helpful, and the breakfast was ok. I would recommend this hotel, as it was good value for money, and it is located in the center of Oslo.

Surprisingly affordable over a weekend ($240 for 2 people, 3 nights); nice location five minute walk to a major tram/bus stop. Friendly service; small rooms but big flat-screen TV; decent breakfast; elevator; free Internet in lobby; awkward but charming shower arrangement; heated floors in bathroom. Overall, a charming, if bit dated hotel, but definitely well worth the money.
