Excellent location, right in the middle of Oslo. If you travel to Oslo by Ryanair and arrive at Oslo Torp airport , the airport bus transfer to Oslo is 300 Krunas return, and from Oslo central bus station, the hotel is only a 10 to 15 minutes walk away. We got upgraded to a suite on the 7th floor, huge room. The only thing i would say is, that the bed was too soft for me. There is a bar across the street which would disturb light sleepers, music there until 3am. The Continental is a very old hotel, and has some lovely old decor. The reception staff were all very friendly and spoke excellent English. Bring plenty of money,as Norway is very expensive, £9.50 for a Big Mac meal, £7 a pint of lager, be warned.

Would recommend - 1st stay had room on 3rd floor - excellent- 2nd stay - room on 8th floor - small but had balcony overlooking National Theatre. Air conditioning does not work but fan provided.. Brekfast excellent. Staff most helpful

The staff were ever so helpful and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay in Oslo and will surely go back to The Continental in a next visit.
