In the middle of town, clean and decent standard. Breakfast included and pretty good. The website said parking but there is is a 10 minute only parking to unload your bags (was no spots anyway) and you must park three blocks down the road in a paid parking (we actually got lucky and could park around the block on the road as it was free on Sunday but this was apparently a rare find)

It was a enjoyable stay.

We stayed at the hotel for one night in August 2007.

The location of the Hotel is very convenient., in a road parallel to Karl Johans gate. The no 30 bus returning from Viking Ship museum etc runs past the hotel, as does the no 19 tram going to the train and bus stations. (the street is one way, so to go in the reverse direstion the stops are in another road.) We did not go out late - but the area seemed fine, not seedy at all. we were put off booking some of the hotels near station due to reports of drug addicts etc.

The room was clean and nicely furnished, with large bed and chairs and good lighting. There was no bath plug, which I didnt notice until going to run one, but the shower did work fine. The Buffet breakfast was good. There was no problem leaving luggage to collect later - and they tagged it.

We managed to get a room at a reasonable rate, compared to others available at that time, and were very satisfied.
