We stayed 3 nights in a room that was not interior facing the pool, but was 2nd floor facing roadway. The room was clean, though the carpet was a bit dirty, somewhat moldy (like everything in Florida. Hotels would be better off with tile IMO). We came back for 1 night in a second floor room facing the pool. The room was in much better shape, cleaner, no mold smell, no secret smokers. I think they may usually charge more for poolside rooms. The staff was pleasant.
Free breakfast was minimal (but hey I'm cheap so I did it anyway). Sitting outside at tables for breakfast was nice. The price was right especially considering the hotel prices in the area.
