Riande Granada is a 4 star hotel in Panama City.
The 166-room, air-conditioned hotel features a business centre with office facilities and a digital telephone system with a voice mail service. In addition to this, the business guest will appreciate the large conference and banquet facilities with capacity for up to 120 people, ideal for seminars and social events. For an additional fee, WLAN Internet access is available in public areas. There is a terrace surrounded by beautiful tropical gardens and an internet centre for guests to use (fees apply). The hotel lobby features a 24-hour reception and check-out service, hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, cloakroom, newspaper stand and lift access. There is a café, bar, pub and restaurant on site as well as a mini-supermarket and gift shop for guests to browse in. The hotel casino is perfect for an evening's entertainment. For an additional fee, room and laundry services can be enjoyed. Outdoor and garage parking is available to guests bringing their vehicles. All rooms are non-smoking. The hotel reserves the right to charge $115 to anyone failing to comply with this rule.

The hotel itself was nothing to write home about, and somewhat below my expectations for the price. Very basic rooms and a mediocre breakfast. On the other hand, it was comfortable and clean, and in a great location for exploring the city. The neighborhood is considered very safe and we enjoyed walking around even in the evening.

Yes, I would recommend the Riande Granada to others who visit Panama City. I was very impressed with the with the front desk staff and the nice people that works the hotel! The hotel really needed a smoking section since you can't smoking in the building. The value was great for the time we visited Panama City. I loved the hotel and I will be beck to stay once I come back to visit.

Would recommend for the location. Restaurants, entertainment, businesses, banks al close by. Staff was friendly. Hotel is tired, but there is a major renovation in the works. It will look great, and I am sure the price will go up. For now, its a decent hotel for the price.......in the " New Panama"......in theboom town where the days of 100 dollar 5 stars are no more. And this place is not a 4 star......maybe after the renovation.
