The Hotel Amiot is a 2-star, Superior Tourist class property ideally located in Paris . Whether you are travelling for leisure or business, the Amiot Hotel will welcome you in a warm atmosphere and will do everything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The hotel is basic, but it offers a good location to clients seeking low budget accommodations. (Nov09 PG) Located just opposite the Gare de l'Est station (TGV EST; Metro lines 4, 5 and 7, RER B D E), the Hotel Amiot enjoys a strategic situation close to the department stores, the Opera, Montmartre and Chatelet Les Halles. 5 min away from the "Gare du Nord" Eurostar Shuttle Thalys train station (direct Bus for the "Paris Nord Villepinte" exhibition centre, Orly and Roissy Charles de Gaulle (CDG) airport). This is a traditional, 6-storey, Parisian-style building. The lobby is medium and open-plan to the public areas. The lobby leads into the breakfast room area. The hotel Amiot offers the comfort of its 68 rooms, all equipped with full bathroom or shower, direct telephone line, color TV with Canal + and satellite, internet connection, private safe deposit box, free wifi. Decorated with soft colors, the hotel is offering soundproof, luminous and quiet rooms. The Hotel has many quadruple rooms which makes the Hotel ideal for families. Some guestrooms have a view on the street but all are equipped with double glazing ensuring a quiet night. Others have view on the small courtyard.

We have been informed that from November 2011 Paris hotels may charge a 2% city tax on stays exceeding €200/night directly to guests before they check out at the hotel's own discretion. Due to a lack of further official information we cannot currently confirm if this will be applied by all hotels or if it may be included in room rates. Amiot Hotel, A Convenient Position

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful — The hotel is in a very convenient position, albeit very difficult to find - not even the taxi drivers can find it - due to the fact that the address of the hotel is very badly indicated on the agents's receipt. The reception desk staff are very pleasant and always ready to help. The rooms are adequite, but very small - you cannot walk around the room because of the double bed in the middle of it , and my room was not cleaned very well during my stay of 6 days. It was necessary to say something to the chamber maid about it. The continental breakfast , which is included in the tarif, is good, but the dining room staff are rather moody. Over all, it is a good hotel for the money, and I was quite happy with it.

3 of 3 people found the following review helpful — My boyfriend and I resevered a room for 7 days during october 2010 it was very nice! The elevator did break the 3 day we were there. and we was on the very top floor! BUT WHO CARES! We were in Paris nothing can ruin that! The bathroom was actually HUGE we had room 72 or as we called in the penthouse because its on the very top! it was a great value! located literally 5 foot steps from the metro! the breakfast was great just your average french breakfast with bread, fruit, yogurt, orange juice, au cafe, and cereal. Our bed was made daily and we were also given fresh towels. the neighborhood was good! it was a great trip and a wonderful stay!
