This is a good, superior tourist-class, property located in a very typical Parisian area. (0608PG) The hotel is located in an area with many shops and restaurants, just next to the metro station Boucicaut, which gives easy access to all of Paris' attractions. It is a typical, 5-storey building, of the traditional style of the area. The reception area is small, with a small wooden reception desk. It is open plan with a cosy lounge area, which is decorated in a traditional style with a lot of wood furnishings. The rooms and bathrooms are small, with straightforward decor. They are in good condition. Some rooms face the small inner garden, and are very quiet.

We have been informed that from November 2011 Paris hotels may charge a 2% city tax on stays exceeding €200/night directly to guests before they check out at the hotel's own discretion. Due to a lack of further official information we cannot currently confirm if this will be applied by all hotels or if it may be included in room rates. Fine by Paris standards

Convenient to Metro & supermarket. Staff friendly but need to pay more attention to detail - No room key available throughout our week's stay, no bath plug on arrival, battery needed for TV remote control. Walls thin so can be noisy at times. Hotel probably needs a refurbishment. Breakfast good. Overall - location good, value for money and clean. Good location for a short stay in Paris.

Covenient affordable hotel near Expo

Great value and easy access to the Metro and the Expo Center. Small but very clean room. Not a lot of amenities but a fantastic value in Paris. Nice residential area. Very friendly staff. I would definitely recommend it for value-conscience travelers looking for a hotel near Porte de Versailles.

Cannot expect too much

The hotel is a bit far from city, but with the Metro just outside the hotel, getting around in Paris is not a problem. The room is a bit small and very basic, but the bathroom is sufficiently big. Reception is helpful. As Paris is an expansive city, the facilities provided is adequate for the price.
