Although the location was really good we were disappointed with the room. We booked a standard room, but it was not cheap, even with the Skoosh discount. The rate advertised in the hotel was considerably higher - £200 per day at current exchange rates, so we felt the room should have been reasonably OK. It was very small, with barely room to get out of the bed on one side and no room between the bed and the wall on the other side. There was one smallish window that looked straight out onto the stone wall of another building very close to the hotel. It made the room feel even smaller and very dark even on a sunny day.
It was clean and the continental breakfast was good, but overall not very good value for the price and we had booked for 5 days!
