Me and my wife were looking for a cheap hotel to sleep in. The most of the day we were out. The room was very small but clean. It can fit 2 single beds and if you have many luggages you will find it difficult to move around. There was always hot water. We stayed in February and it was very cold in Paris but the room was very warm. The staff is friendly. The room is cleaned every day and the towels are changed too. Don't except a nice view. The breakfast is fulfilling. If your neighbours are noisy you will find it irritating because you can hear every slight sound. Two metro stations are very close but the road, where the hotel is, doesn't like look very safe. We were ok and we found it funny but there are prettier areas in Paris. Overall it's good value formoney.

The only thing I would say is that if you are counting on the internet connection, this may not work for you. They front desk gave me two user ID's and passwords and both did not work. I'm sure it was not a setting problem but???
Breakfast is simple and if it is just a home base for the touring it will work for that idea.

The hotel is a 15 - 20 min walk from Gare du Nord, down the Boulevarde de Magenta and then the Boulevard de Strasbourg where the hotel is. Stick to these main streets at night if you are on your own. The Metro is easy to use and a pass is a very good investment for getting to and from the airport and around Paris. Ensure the meter is working if you get a cab. The hotel is ideally situated for getting around the city, and for a 2-3 night stay it is good value for money - the room and shower could do with a good clean. Staff are responsive and english is OK. I will stay there again.

This is small hotel located ner the sena river (20 minwalking). It is very well communicted (metro nd bus). Brekfast is ok and normally included. If you plan to visit Paris and need a hotel to sleep and have breakfast, this is a good choice.
