They don't have air conditions in the whole building. No internet connection as well( which is something you need). I had to walk aprrox. 3 KM to use the internet in starbucks. Some of the staff are friendly, but there was one who wasn't even close to the word "friendly". The location is alright, and safe. However, the hotel is below the standards. I do not recommend it. |

I arrived very late after a 25 hour travel day but the desk clerk spoke English and was aware of with my reservation and late arrival. The room was small, dated but clean. There was plenty of hot water. Since breakfast was included, I took advantage of that. The room was in the back off a small courtyard but you could still hear street life at night, but it was bearable, perhaps soothing. The only done side was initially getting a great deal but I made a mistake in booking dates and that cost enough to negate the great deal. However I did not want to research other lodging so I chose to stay. The hotel was centrally located, one block from the Metro. I would stay there again and recommend it to others. It served our needs nicely. |

We really enjoyed the neighborhood. Rue Mouffetard is a street with a lot of charm. It has a great street market during the day, and at night a lot of fun little bistros and bars. Close to the Pantheon, the Jardins du Luxembourg , the Jardin des Plantes, the Quartier Latin, it also has a very convenient Metro station about 50 yards away. The hotel itself is small and so are the rooms, but it was very clean, had all the amenities we wanted from a room in which we were not going to spend a lot of time .The price was also relatively low (it's downtown Paris after all). We would definitely recommend this hotel to those looking for a budget hotel in a great location from which to maximize the sightseeing. |

Pros: Clean, excellent location. A cosy little hotel, with value for money. Room facing backyard gave little to zero noise in the evening and nights. Very friendly and professional hotel staff, who spoke fluent english. |
