A Very Pleasant stay at the Des Nations Hotel

Had a very enjoyable stay at the Des Nations Hotel. The rooms were very clean, if a little on the small side. The choice of food at breakfast was impressive for a relatively small hotel and the staff were very pleasant. We met one Japanese lady who had been going to the hotel for 17 years because she liked it so much! The location was good for both walking to the sights (Notre Dame is just down the road) or hopping onto the Metro. Lots of restaurants around the corner in Rue Mouffetard and a supermarket just yards down Rue Monge (with a couple of bars on the way if you feel the need!)

Des Nations was a wonderful oasis. I was exhasted when I arrived and was pleasantly greeted by a young man who spoke english flawlessly. He recommeded a fabulous restaurant just a short walk from the hotel and arranged for my early morning pick-up to the airport. All this at check in, so I could relax the rest of the evening. The room was simple, clean and comfortable. The bath was spotless with a tub large enough to indulge oneself with a long bubble bath , which I enjoyed tremendously! The room was a flow through so I had three windows. The front window with a balcony overlooked the skyine of Paris draped in the light that you only see, in Paris. Breathtaking! Breakfast was included and very good. I never stayed in this neighborhood of Paris before, I will next time, at the Des Nation!
