I have to start by noting, as everyone does, that hotels in Paris are relatively expensive.
The Paname provides a reasonable option between very comfortable but expensive, and cheap but uncomfortable.
The plus points:
I was offered a choice of the available rooms on arrival;
rooms are of a fair size, with a decent bathroom;
breakfast is included, and is fairly generous;
once you're on the Metro, it's a quick ride to the main sights of Paris
The minus points:
the 12th arrondisement itself has few sights of interest, but is relatively quiet;
the nearest Metro stops (Gare de Lyon, or Bastille) are 10 minues away.
So, an unexciting, but reasonable option for Paris.
