This is an excellent 3 star superior tourist class property. It has a good location in Paris and is recommended to lovers of art and literature. (0908FP) This hotel is located in the famous Latin Quater, a few minutes walk from the lively Boulevard St Germain des Pres. There is good public transport close by. This is a traditional Parisian style building which was renovated in 2002. The lobby is medium in size and offers a captivating "literary" feel, due to the magnificent Argentinian wooden furniture and staircases, parquet floors and libraries of English and French books. Comfortable tables and chairs offer a peaceful place to sit and read, and high glazed windows illuminate this elegant area. The rooms vary in size but are all in good condition. They have been well decorated and have attractive wooden furniture as in the lobby area. 6 rooms are equipped with a sofa bed, and can be used as a triple room.

We have been informed that from November 2011 Paris hotels may charge a 2% city tax on stays exceeding €200/night directly to guests before they check out at the hotel's own discretion. Due to a lack of further official information we cannot currently confirm if this will be applied by all hotels or if it may be included in room rates. Great Hotel

Perfect location, 5min walk to Notre Dame & Pantheon, 10min walk to St Michel station (serviced by RER-B that goes to CDG airport). However there is also a smaller metro station 2 minutes walk from the hotel. The area is quiet but very central with some excellent restaurants within a 5-10 minute walking distance. Room was quite small for two adults (which is something I understand you just have to accept almost anywhere in central Paris) but you quickly get used to it. There was a comfortable double bed with just about enough room for you to maneuvre yourself around it, a smallish wardrobe, bedside tables, big windows and a surprisingly large bathroom with high pressure shower. It was also airconditioned. In general everything was very clean and the room was serviced daily. Staff at reception speak English and are friendly. Oh and the french breakfast was fantastic
