Quite frankly this is a great place to stay. Yes, like all Paris buildings this facility is small...rooms are small, shower is small, lift is small, but that I could care less about!! 2 blocks from the Louvre, great attentive stay, very nice breakfast buffett, you cannot go wrong. I will defintely stay here next time I am in Paris. Seriously, are you coming to Paris to 'hang' in the room?
GREAT stay, thanks to all of the staff for a great facility...nice and clean!!

Careful what maps you use, some had this street as east-west instead of north-south. That had us searching for a while. The room was VERY small but served our sleeping needs. The bed was comfy and we had plenty of hot water in the tiny shower. By booking on Skoosh, we had breakfast included in our room which was nice. Breakfast was adequate with ham, cheese, croissants, boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, milk and more. The Louvre was a little over a block away and you had easy access to the Louvre Rivoli and Musee Louvre subway stops. Our advice for English-speakers is to buy ALL your train/subway tickets at the airport when you arrive - they speak English there. Hotelstaff spoke English, very courteous. We had Vonage phone forwarded from our house in U.S. for 4cents/minute to the hotel so family could reach us. Worked great! For price, great deal.

The Timhotel is literaly across the street from the Louvre Museum. We were there for 5 days and we were actually able to walk everywhere even though the metro station is 2 blocks away. It is close to restaurants and Rue Rivoli has many tourist souvenir shops and also many clothing stores for those who want to go window shopping. Breakfast is included which is great, and it is very clean. The rooms are small, but they are heated and you even have a TV. The employees were very friendy and helpful and they all spoke English unlike everybody else. I would recommend it to everybody if you are looking for a place where you just want to sleep and leave your clothes. If you are planning on staying in the room, then its not for you!

The street was amazingly quiet. We have stayed in several nearby locations that were very noisy especially early in the morning when the trash trucks come by. We even changed to a front room which was smaller but much brighter. The folks were very helpful on that. However, CNN and BBC never worked and the WiFi was down until the last day, but at least that was a problem with their service company in the area. The room was about average size and there was just enough room to get out of bed on either side. The shower was the smallest I've seen but the facilities were clean and the elevator worked well and was larger than most. The location couldn't be better and there are good nearby food outlets. We come to Paris at least once a year and will keep the Timhotel on the list, if we can get the type of room we want. PS- in winter if you get the 5th floor on the front you can use the overhang outside the window as a fridge.
