Bayview Beach Resort

We were very pleased with the very large comfortable room that we were given. It was well furnished with comfortable chairs and facilities. The double bed was huge. It seemed to be two double beds put together.

The pool facilities are very good with a large pool which caters for different capabilities.

The only thing problem with the hotel is that it is at the end far end of Batu Ferringhi which meant that you had a bit to walk to see the street markets and other facilities. However you can get a local bus to Georgetown right outside the hotel.

This was our second visit to the hotel and noted that it was in a very good state of maintenance. My wife and I are happy to recommend this hotel.

This was a very relaxing place to stay. The pool complex was first class and there was excellent access to the beach. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was unfailingly friendly and helpful.
We were pleased that we had booked accommodation only as breakfast was expensive compared to the excellent eating places a few minutes walk down the road.
The cheap bus services were very accessible just outside the hotel.

I liked the Bayview Hotel for the most part. As you would expect with a hotel, internet, drinks and food were quite expensive. The happy hour was more like barely a smile hour as the prices werent that pleasing. The hotel is well built in that most of the rooms would have a good view either of the sea or green mountains or both. The staff is quite friendly and the hotel clean and well catered for. The staff at the bar and the towels were very friendly and always trying to help. The hotel itself looks like a shopping centre with some really nice elevators installed. The pool was also very nice despite the hotel being a little quiet. The beds was extremely comfortable. For the cost of the hotel I thought the Bayview was reasonable value for money and I would recommend it.

This was a great family hotel. The swimming pool was gorgeous as was the hotel location. A short stroll into the centre of Batu Faringi each night for the markets and dinner.

It is not a luxury hotel, but has the makings of a fun, friendly, accomodating and very comfortable hotel which is great value for money.
Room was very clean and spacious.
Squash courts onsite will cost you small amount of ringgits.
Beach is easily accessable and very clean and tidy and jellyfish are seasonal. Beware of the local hawkers selling boat trips, and other water activities. Go before 8 am for peaceful walks on the beach.
You will have taxi drivers lurking in the foyer to pounce on the unsuspecting guest trying to exit the hotel.
Hotel food is expensive compared to going out and about Penang.
Easily accessible to hiring local transport - scooters from across the road at reasonable prices.
Hotel only 1.7 kilometers to the center of the nightmarkets and hawker food.
