Andel's Hotel is a 4 star hotel in Prague. This 4-star new contemporary design hotel (opened 2002) is situated near the city centre in the shopping/business district Smichov with good transport links to all major areas of interest. Stylish and modern accommodation with up-to-date amenities, exquisite restaurants and leisure facilities. The hotel is located in the shopping business Andel area of the Smichov district (left bank of Vltava river), which is in the centre of Prague, however requires a short journey by public transport to the Old Town or Little Quarter where most famous sights are located. Only 3 metro stops away from Wenceslas Square/Old Town and only about 10 mins by tram away from Charles Bridge and Little Quarter (tram 12 or 20). The property is a newly-constructed (2002) design hotel built in a modern, contemporary style. It was designed by leading British architects and designers Jestico + Whiles. Fitness & Health Centre (extra charged) includes cardio zone, body building room, sauna, solarium, steam bath and massage. There is also a hairdresser's and beauty salon at the hotel. The rooms are spacious, airy and flooded by light through floor-to-ceiling windows. Rooms are extremely modern, yet quite simply designed with stylish and discrete furniture which combine highest comfort with up-to-date functionality. Modern amenities include satellite TVs, DVD, high-speed internet, two telephone lines and individually adjustable air-conditioning. The crystal-like luxury bathrooms are spacious and feature separate bathtub and shower, heated floor, cosmetic bar and a ladies make-up mirror. "Delight" restaurant offers breakfast or different kinds of gastronomic events. "Oscar's" bar/brasserie is a fashionable venue serving Italian coffee specialities, a fresh and light lunch or dinner in a trendy, atmospheric environment. Hot buffet breakfast is included. Room service is available 18 hours/day. Public areas have wi-fi internet access. Small Pets are allowed at a 20 EUR/day charge.

Nice sized room. Very clean. Well appointed. Huge bed. Excellent breakfast with broad choice and as much as you wanted. Only negatives were lack of tea making facilities in the room and the window between room and ensuite, but would recommend to others despite those niggles.

If you are looking for a hotel in the middle of everything, this is not your hotel. However, the Andel's is a very nice hotel with a big buffet breakfast. It is located across the street from a very big shopping mall with a variety of stores. My wife and I LOVED the hotel. It was out of the touristy places so you could get a cheap meal, near atm's, and a twenty minute walk to the city center. Overall, this is a great place for people who know how to travel and dont want to be caught up in all of the tourist traps.

We stayed at Andel's for 3 nights and had an extremely comfortable stay. The room was a double but the bed was actually king size and very comfortable. The whole hotel is fitted with stylish, high quality furnishings. The buffet breakfast is the best I have ever had anywhere - a great variety of food, including cereals, fruits, breads, and hot stuff like bacon and eggs and bavarian sausages.

Would definitely stay again!

EXCELLENT HOTEL ,EASY TO REACH BY TRAIN FROM AIRPORT AND RIGHT NEXT TO TRAM STOP. BEAUTIFUL BREAKFASTS, LOTS TO CHOOSE FROM. VERY NICE LARGE ROOM .ALL IN ALL EXCELLENT VALUE WE WERE VERY PLEASED.
