Reviews Of Andelīs, Prague,

Fantastic...staff were welcoming, friendly, polite and explained everything that we needed to know in fluent English! The hotel itself was beautiful, absolutely loved our stay and would definately reccommend! As a gay couple we were apprehensive as you never know what different cultures take to different scenes. We had a few stares but we got more hassle in Britain than over there.

Highly Recomended!
A very stylish hotel, very good transport links from the hotel around the city.
Room's are very comfortable, gym, sauna and massage are of high standard.
Good selection from breakfast buffet & restaurant food is of a good standard.

Hotel can arrange airport taxis at 700 cz (Approx 24 Euro) or you can get direct from the airport for about 560 cz but beware taxi's in prague are nautorious for overcharging tourist. (offical tarriff at the time of my visit was about 25 cz per km) Remember if in doubt ask reception to confirm the price when you arrive at Hotel.

That said Prague is a very attractive city with something for everyone. I will visit again and will stay at Andel's again.

The hotel was great, the room was very nicely decorated and furnished with everything you need, very clean, and nice to have a bath and shower to chose from. The breakfast was ok. But Oscars (the bar and restaurant downstairs) served great food, and had a relaxed atmosphere. The hotel was was an ideal place to stay for my fiance and I. Although it wasn't right in the centre of Prague, it was within walking distance to the centre and main attractions. We would definitely stay there again.

A great hotel to stay in, very clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was very good with a lot to choose, from fresh fruit and croissants to greasy fries, and as much as you want. However, sometimes it was a bit noisy and busy, to a not the 'top of the mornin' person' that was a bit difficult at times! We used the gym and sauna/steam room once, it was great but very over priced (Ģ10 per person for Gym and Sauna). If we went back to Prague we would probably stay in the centre rather that on the outskirts (my partner disagrees) however it was great fun travelling back and forth on the metro or the tram. Prague has an amazing transport system. To get away from it all I would highly recommend discovering the tea rooms in Prague, we found one tucked away in a wee square that was a real retreat away from all the commercialism.

Hotel was great - stylish, comfortable rooms (if a bit Ikea in quality fittings - it might not look so good in a few years!) and excellent breakfast. Only didn't give it 5 because you could be anywhere - nothing Czech about it at all, which is less a criticism than a comment as I knew that when I booked. Certainly great value for money.

My friend and I went to stay at Andel's for 3 nights. We got upgraded to the fifth floor which had a seating area with complimentry coffee and tea. We loved the room and the bathroom was fantastic. The japanese restaurant in the basement was lovely. Lastly, but not least the breakfast was unforgettable and a great start to a day out in Prague.

Highly recommended. Clean and pleasant environment and friendly English-speaking staff. It is well located and the main tourist attractions can be acessed within 10 minutes by metro or tram. The only slight let down is the food in the on-site brasserie. It's not the best, but then there are not many places in Prague that offer high quality cuisine.
