Location The property is situated on the quiet cobbled streets of Vitkov. Prague's Jewish quarter and Old Town Square are just a 10-minute drive away, while Charles Bridge is 15 minutes away by car. Facilities This establishment offers guests all the benefits of a historic setting, combined with the most up-to-date standards of comfort and design for today's business and leisure traveller. Built in 2008 on the site of a historical building, this excellent hotel seamlessly blends contemporary design with period architectural features. The guest rooms and public areas have all been recently renovated. The hotel comprises a total of 44 guest rooms and offers a range of facilities, including a lobby with 24-hour reception and check out, a hotel safe, a currency exchange facility, lift access, a breakfast room and Internet access. Rooms All rooms are equipped with high-speed Internet access, a minibar, a satellite TV, an in-room safe, an en suite bathroom and a range of bathroom amenities such as Fen towels. A double bed, a fridge, a cooker, tea and coffee making facilities, an iron and ironing board and central heating also come as standard. Each unit has its own balcony or terrace. Good hotel in Prague

we arrived to be told the hotel had double booked us and told us to walk for 20 meters turn right and go to that hotel, we were also advised the king/queen bed i had booked didnt exist because they didnt have that size bed! its in the middle of beruit and at least 10 mins by number 9 tram into prague, yeuch, shite n bollocks. DO YOUSELF A FAVOUR AND DONT USE THIS HOTEL. prague is lovely though

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful — Hotel Gloria is an excellent value for the money. Conveniently located a 10-minute bus ride from Old Town (5-minute bus ride from the Florenc metro / Namesti Republiky tram stops), it's in a mostly residential area. (Bus 133 stops nearly in front of hotel). There are many reasonably priced restaurants and a grocery store within a 3-minute walking distance. Rooms are large and comfortable. If you overlook the worn and stained carpet, room would be comparable to a typical mid-range Hyatt or Marriott. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Wireless internet is only available in lobby. Wired internet is available in rooms. There;s also a safe in each room. Europeans love their cigarettes - so expect to put up with some level of smoke smell. The breakfast is ok. Still no toaster... Would definitely stay here again.
